By accessing or using Chessido, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

Description of service

Chessido is a chess academy management platform that provides tools for coaches to manage students, run live classrooms, assign puzzles and homework, and track progress. Students access the platform through coach-issued credentials.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account. Coaches are responsible for their students' use of the platform.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Chessido for any unlawful purpose
Share student credentials without proper consent
Attempt to access accounts that are not yours
Reverse engineer or interfere with the platform's operation
Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm others

Intellectual property

Chessido and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Chessido and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create on the platform.

Student data

Coaches are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent for adding students to the platform and for complying with applicable student privacy laws (such as COPPA, FERPA, or local equivalents) in their jurisdiction.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability.

Limitation of liability

Chessido is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Chessido after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
